TRAG and Pi® join forces

Zeist, February 2nd 2008 - The merger of TRAG and Pi® will create a new company that supplies health care organizations with a uniquely integrated, full spectrum of performance data, at all required levels of detail.

TRAG consultants is a financial management consulting firm with its core competency in costing, cost benchmarks, DRG/DBC and productivity benchmark solutions. TRAG delivers its services to over 100 European hospitals. Pi® is a spin-off of Plexus Medical Group, which is the most prominent health care consulting firm in the Netherlands. Known for its analytical power, Plexus created Pi® as a tool to provide hospitals with on-line, real-time access to a whole realm of ready-made performance measures in the areas of quality, safety, logistics/flow, operations, and efficacy.

The merging of TRAG’s and Pi®’s complementary assets enables the newly formed company to serve existing and new clients even better with up to date, easily analyzable, reliable and accurate performance information. The principle of these products remains that information should be exclusively “from health care organizations for health care organizations”; no other parties will have access to this information.

The Board of Directors is formed by Judith Houtepen, Steven Lugard and Holger Wagenaar.
